Hugh's Culinary and its unique interior is the brain- child of the charismatic and creative Hugh McCauley. His extensive culinary experience began when he was just in grade school cooking alongside his grandfather at Fort Lauderdale's Shrine Club. The pursuit of education led Hugh to the Sorbonne in Paris. From there he began the study of international cuisines. His skills were put to the test in the resort towns of Aspen and Cape Cod and later as manager of Fort Lauderdale's renowned steak house, The Ambry. His love of people and entertaining made catering a natural career choice. Hugh and his mother, Jackie founded Hugh's Catering in 1978. Hugh is an avid fisherman, hunter and the devoted father of Macy, the little seven year old who puts the twinkle in his eye.
